  2. inclusion in NetLand.  Please review the notes below for more information      
  3. on submittals.

  23.    A monthly international electronic magazine dedicated to the                
  24. publicity of the Alternative computer networks.  Credit is given               
  25. to authors.  We publish within 60 days of electronic submission.               
  26. (see schedule).  Reports to queries via Net Mail and/or internet               
  27. given within 24 hours of receipt.  We do take the first North                  
  28. American Serial Rights.

  30.    Each monthly publication will carry, with the permission of                 
  31. Adam Michlin, the most current version of NETSALL.ART available                
  32. to us.                                                                         
  33.                                                                                
  34.    Announcements and articles are NOT advertisements for your                  
  35. BBS, Business or other commercial activity.  Future editions of                
  36. NETLAND may have sections for advertisements...but at this time                
  37. they are neither welcome, nor accepted.                                        
  38.                                                                                
  39. PAYMENT: $0.00 per article. (You are promoting YOUR net, right?)               
  40.                                                                                
  41. LENGTH:                                                                        
  42.                                                                                
  43.    Net anouncements can be of any length.  You know what you want              
  44. stress...and what will attract folks to your network.  Remember,               
  45. if it bores you to tears...No one else will enjoy reading your                 
  46. announcement.                                                                  
  47.                                                                                
  48.   We can publish articles up to 30,000 words in length if that is              
  49. your desire.  Our hope is that the articles, contrasted to the                 
  50. announcements, will cover subjects of interest to those readers                
  51. that want to explore the world of independent networks.

  53. TIPS:

  55.    For the quickest inclusion in NETLAND you may netmail us at                 
  56. The Barter Board, FIDO 1:261/1352 with your net announcement                   
  57. OR simply netmail a message to us that we have your permission to              
  58. include the announcement you posted in the FIDO OTHERNETS echo.                
  59.                                                                                
  60.    Articles can be transmitted to either our FIDO address, or                  
  61. uploaded directly to The Barter Board BBS at (410) 837-1420.                   
  62.                                                                                
  63.    You may also submit your announcements and/or articles via                  
  64. diskette snail mail to the address listed above.                               
  65.                                                                                
  66.    Disk media: DOS 360, 720, 1.2m, 1.4m. in unarced/uncompressed               
  67. format, *PURE ASCII* text format on disk media for Net Announcements           
  68. and articles.  Place a minimum of two copies of the work on disk.              
  69. Please limit your file name to a maximum of seven characters                   
  70. (READROOM REQUIREMENT).                                                        
  71.                                                                                
  72.    Although we do NOT guarantee publication of ANSI announcements,             
  73. articles,and/or Logos, we strongly urge you to submit them.  These             
  74. ANSI announcements and/or logo files can really attract systems to             
  75. YOUR network. If space allows, and these items are in a format                 
  76. readable by READROOM, we will include the ANSII version of your                
  77. submission.                                                                    
  78.                                                                                
  79.    We are not in the position to do data entry of your items                   
  80. submitted via snail-mail or FAX.

  84. Please provide with your submission, a contact BBS with a FIDO                 
  85. Node number for NetMail.  We can not at this time respond to                   
  86. queries other than FIDO Node Numbers...OR an internet address. If              
  87. you make your submission by snail mail and you want your dis-                  
  88. kettes returned, please include a postage paid return mailer or                
  89. envelope.  Snail Mail submissions without return postage will be               
  90. considered expendable (I have to get scratch diskettes someway!).

  96. with 65 column Right Margin, blank line between paragraphs, spell              
  97. checked, EDITED, and *PROOF READ* by YOU!                                      
  98.                                                                                
  99.    We do virtually no editing to your ms, except for layout                    
  100. into the e-mag to fit format needs. PURE ASCII text format,                    
  101. please.  We reserve the right to reject submissions that do not                
  102. adhere to this layout format.

  106.    The Authors retain copyright to their work! And have only                   
  107. released (One Time Rights) First North American Serial rights for              
  108. publication purposes.

  112.    Netland is published in the first week of each month.  Submissions
  113. for the next issue will be accepted up to 25th. day of the month prior
  114. to the next issue date.
